DanePork - originally Slagtergården St. Lihme A/S - is an independent, privately owned slaughterhouse located midway between Vejle and Billund. We value good craftsmanship and high quality, as well as proximity to our customers and suppliers.
We ensure and appreciate having close contact to our customers, with whom we jointly develop new products and packaging. Our production has great flexibility and thus a quick conversion. Our capacity allows us to service the small butcher’s shop and the large food group.
DanePork was started St. Lihme, and therefore the local area is a very important place for the owner. It is important for DanePork to support the activities and initiatives that take place in the local area, and in this way help to maintain and develop the local area of which we are part.
- The slaughterhouse started in 1989, was EU approved in 1996, and in 2001 the slaughterhouse was approved for export to the United States and Japan.
- Other countries we export to include Italy, China, Canada and Australia.
- Today, DanePork currently employs 350 dedicated employees, all of whom guarantee the company's high level of service and flexibility.
- In 2011, we changed our name from Slagtergården St. Lihme A/S to DanePork A/S.
During 2018-2019, DKK 130 million was invested in new production facilities.
