DanePork A/S – formerly Slagtergården St. Lihme A/S – is an independent, privately owned slaughterhouse located between Vejle and Billund. We prioritize craftsmanship, high quality, and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and suppliers.
We value close collaboration with our customers, jointly developing new products and packaging. Our production processes are highly flexible, allowing for quick adjustments. With our capacity, we serve both small butchers and large food groups alike.
DanePork’s origins lie in St. Lihme, making the local area an integral part of our identity. We are committed to supporting local activities and initiatives, helping to sustain and develop the community to which we belong.
- Founded in 1989, the slaughterhouse received EU approval in 1996.
- In 2001, it was approved for export to the United States and Japan.
- We also export to countries including Italy, China, Canada, and Australia.
In 2011, we rebranded from Slagtergården St. Lihme A/S to DanePork A/S.
Between 2016 and 2023, we invested EUR 100 million in new production facilities.
Today, DanePork employs 650 dedicated staff, all of whom uphold the company’s high standards of service and flexibility.
